As co-founder Lynette has been instrumental in building the foundations for Social Atlas and what the organisation is working to achieve. By combining her significant corporate experience with a strong personal and professional belief in maximising the power of cross sector partnerships, Lynette has worked with Michelle to establish Social Atlas’ role in delivering positive social impact.
Lynette has recently accepted a role with Jawun as General Manager of Partnerships. In accepting this role, Lynette said “I was drawn to the role because of Jawun’s alignment with my personal belief in good development practice and how social impact is created – a community-led, place based approach targeting systems change. I see this as an extention of what we have built at Social Atlas, and know that Social Atlas will continue to grow and prosper.”
Jawun is an Australian, non-profit organisation which manages secondments from the corporate and public sectors to a range of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander partners in urban, regional and remote communities across Australia. The Jawun model aims to strengthen the capacity of Indigenous organisations and leaders and in leveraging the expertise of corporate and government partners to support Indigenous led projects, including major programs for reform. Jawun is a place where corporate, government and philanthropic organisations come together with Indigenous people to affect real change.
